EXTREME Adventure August 25-31, 2016
You asked for it!! For you adrenaline junkies this is the retreat for you! Not only will you have an all day rafting trip, but you will have an all day kayaking trip in the Willamette Narrows. If you have been to our other adventure retreats, you know from time to time we have done some indoor rock climbing. Not in EXTREME! This time you will be hiking into French’s Dome and experience outdoor rock climbing! This volcanic plug of rock made up of andesite, as opposed to the usual Cascade Basalt makes for high quality climbing in the heart of the Mt. Hood forest. If that isn’t enough get ready for a basecamp backpacking overnight at Daly Lake. Explore the crests of the Old Cascades trail system while learning map and compass skills, backcountry travel ecology and natural history. This isn’t just a fun camping trip, you will help pitch the tent, cook the meals and clean up. Participants must be able to travel 1-5 miles a day with a loaded backpack.
Want more? Don’t worry we have more extreme and challenging adventures for you. Sign up for EXTREME Adventure 2016 today! Space is limited!
